Good experience from start to finish. Owner was extremely patient leading up to the start of the dock renovation, and once the project started it was completed expeditiously with efficiency and care. Very little supervision was required and everything that was promised leading up to the start of the project was fulfilled. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Barry, Patrick, and the whole Dock Dogs team did a great job installing our 30 ft dock. We appreciated their professionalism, reasonable pricing, quick installation, and prompt response to our requests for adjustments to the project (adding a ladder, changing the piling caps). We highly recommend them for anyone with a similar project.

Started dock without hassling me for upfront payment. That was appreciated. After agreeing to price got dock done in 3 days and started 4 days after agreement. I contacted Dock Dogs to raise our seawall and replace our 35 year old dock. Barry, the owner, gave us a fair estimate and we decided to move forward. He stated that once they start a job they finish and would not pull off for another until they were complete. Once beginning the job, his team showed up every day unless raining and the crew's workmanship was outstanding. I worked along with the crew installing piping under the dock for future use. Barry was very accommodating and even had his workers installed dock components that were not mentioned in the original agreement. We are very pleased with the work that was performed and the time frame the job was completed in. I would recommend Dock Dogs for any type of marine type work.
This company was great to work with. Licenses and insurance are posted on their site. Reviews on social media are positive. The owner showed up the next morning after I contacted them. I was given a start date and price immediately. They showed up when they promised, finished the work in the time frame promised for the price promised. The owner, Barry, was frequently on site and kept me informed on progress. Worker were neat and cleaned up each day. And they deliver a great product!

These guys were great! They were on time every day until the job was done. Even on weekends to complete the job on time. Worked 6 hours a day in the scorching, feels like 105 degrees South Florida sun. Barry is very easy to work with and listens to what you say and does the work as planned and as promised. Dock Dogs and the crew did a 80 foot dock renewal in less than two weeks and within price quoted and perfectly completed the task. My neighbor had his composite deck done several years ago by them and still looks new. Super respectful of me, my property, and my time and budget, can't really ask for more than that. I have worked with A LOT of contractors over the years and usually there is an issue, whether it be them being disrespectful and not cleaning up after themselves or dragging their stuff around the yard and not caring what impact that had, treating me like there was always some other job that was more important, or just not showing up or taking twice as long as they originally said or really the boatload of excuses we all have heard. I can't say how refreshing it was to not have to deal with any of that from Dock Dogs, just 100% professional, honest, and TRUSTWORTHY. Just good people, and real good work. Had these guys rebuild a dock at my home. I am a GC in Florida and have built a lot of south florida real estate both commercial and residential, including waterfront spec homes.. I hired Dock Dogs to redo a badly neglected dock at a home i just bought last year. They were professional, showed up on time and actually very early everyday until the job was fully done. They did exactly what they proposed, held to their quoted prices, and did not have any surprises that seem to be south florida norm for contractors.. they advised me clearly when they uncovered a hidden issue with the seawall, they quoted me a fair price to address it and completed the job on time and budget..they even came back on a weekend day to screw a few additional boards that were missed, and they left the job as expected. They had no hesitation to come back to make us happy.. we now have a nice dock to pull up to.. thanks guys..
Dock Dogs just finished my new dock and my family couldn’t be happier. Professional, trustworthy, honest, clean, and caring group of really hardworking guys make up Barry’s team. They added so many nice finishing details that we were not expecting from the boarding gate to the boat to some nice clean lattice work in a small section of the dock for aesthetic reasons. From the initial meeting through the completed dock renovation the team was great. Barry helped us with the initial estimate and to figure out our options, very nice and professional. The job was completed over 3 days from demolition to the new dock that far exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with our new dock and fully recommend the Dock Dogs team.

I hired Dock dogs To redo my Entire dock. New piling new 4x4 bumpers and new 2x6 top of dock and I couldn’t be happier with them.They showed up on time when they said they would and worked every day till the job was don’t and don’t correctly. They did a phenomenal job cleaned up after themselves every day didn’t leave so much as a splinted after they left and the price was very fare. The owner Barry is a super nice guy worked with me on everything I wanted to do answered any and all questions I had and his Forman Patrick and crew where all very nice guys and respected everything on the property by not damaging any plants trees or pots they put everything back where it went and even did a few extras. I highly recommend Dock dogs and will use them again for any Dock or Pilon work I need in the future. Worth every red cent.
Barry, Patrick and the rest of the team were exceptionally prompt, professional, and did a great job on our dock. We had them come out for an estimate, and they got us on the schedule quickly. The tear out was done in a day, or day and a half. They tarped all the areas in the back yard where they were bringing old decking to stack for removal and other high traffic areas which kept our backyard looking the same as it did before they arrived.We went with a polymer decking product and got excellent framing. We ended up having to replace three pilings that were failing and they suggested different lighting options and ladder.They showed up 5 consecutive days and the job was finished. They started early and were finished by 3 most days. They cleared up and covered all tools and building materials every day and ensured our side gates were locked.These guys did a great job and we are completely satisfied with our finished product!Stuey and Lisa Palmer

Great team!! The price was fair & the service was fabulous! I had to replace 2 pilings to my fairly new dock. I was so afraid of my dock getting damaged but they did a wonderful job! They arrived on time & completed the work exactly as they said they would.
My father had his deck done. He first met Barry and assured him that it would be the best deck he could possibly wish for. They showed up at 7:30 A.M for five days straight until the job was done. I highly recommend Barry and his group to replace a dock. Very professional, reliable, perfect with the installation and workmanship and very nice to work with. They took away the old wooden dock and put in a beautiful clam-shell grey composite dock. I had a few cracks in the outside concrete patio and Barry suggested a decorative concrete overly. It turned out beautiful and compliments the dock. I would have never had that done as no other company had suggested it. Now I have a very nice beautiful dock and outside patio. I would gladly give a good reference for these guys.
I'm not easily impressed and don't write reviews too often but I had to share this experience.I interviewed several other dock building companies prior to hiring Dock Dogs. Dock Dogs gave me a fair price, were very professional and nice to work with but most of all they followed through and did everything they said they were going to do in a timely manner. They absolutely blew me away with the installation and their workmanship. Excellent service unlike what you usually encounter in South Florida. If you're on the fence on which company to hire on dock related work which I was, I'm extremely happy with my experience. I highly recommend Dock Dogs.

I was in a real bind.Two of my dock pilings had broken loose and went into the water. I feared the whole dock might go. I started searching the internet and came upon Dock Dogs. I was curious and decided to look at their website. I was impressed. I sent an email late that night to Barry.Early the next morni g I received a text from him asking me to call. He said he would be there the next morning to give me an estimate. I knew the minute I met Barry we would have a good experience. It only took a few minutes to agree on a price and what was to be done.He said he had a couple of jobs to do and always finished them before starting the next one.He and his crew showed up exactly when he said they would. They removed the old dock and built a fantastic new one. They were professional friendly and congenial.They were very well organized and particular about their work.
